The Great Thaw:
A Somatic Breathwork Ceremony
Wednesday, April 1 • 6:15 PM
Winter asks us to endure.
To hold.
To carry quietly.
By spring, many of us are walking around with subtle heaviness — stress layered over responsibility, grief layered over productivity. The body remembers what we tried to power through.
The Great Thaw is a guided somatic breathwork ceremony designed to gently melt what has been held in the nervous system and tissues of the body. Through deep rhythmic breathing, intuitive movement, and embodied shaking, we create safe, supported space for tension to release and circulation to return.
This is not about forcing a breakthrough.
It is about allowing the body to soften in its own timing.
Together we will work with the breath as a tool for clearing emotional residue, unwinding stored stress, and restoring a sense of inner spaciousness as we enter the spring season.
During this ceremony, you can expect:
Grounding and body awareness practices
Somatic breathwork to move stagnant energy
Guided shaking and vocal release
Gentle integration to anchor lightness
You don’t have to carry winter into spring.
You are allowed to soften.
You are allowed to begin again.
